Clay (FERG) Ferguson creates his iconographic works with a deep respect for the clean line. Breaking objects down to a minimum of shapes and colors results in the creation of simplistic yet arresting imagery.
Ferg was Born in Texas in 1970, he currently lives in Austin with his wife (painter Sarah Ferguson) and daughter 'G'. His days are filled with graphic design, product design and manufacture, machining, grinding, painting and the occasional trip to the skate park.
His tools are created primarily using titanium and tool steel. His sculpture is created from Magic Sculp, foam, plaster and epoxy resin. His paintings are acrylic, spraypaint, screenprint on canvas and paper and his toys are constructed of soft vinyl, cloth and ABS.
